Hello everyone.

The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.

There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

Install and run UWP through command prompt without Certificate

Using the new feature of Unity3D (2018.2) that enables sending frames to the Hololens, but the feature only works with a UWP app, not typical exe. The app will not be given as a standalone, it just gets installed/runs as part of our main software.

Is there a way after building the Appx, to install it and run it through code?
I checked WinAppDeployCmd, but it only installs the application (without running it) and it requires that the root certificate is trusted (which as far as I ve seen, can only be done by manually navigating to the properties of the Appx file, or the .cer file)

I would really appreciate some insight on whether what we are planing is doable or not, and if yes some hints/links to the right direction.

Thanks!
