Sending only the updated parts of reconstruction
I need to transfer to a desktop platform just the modified parts of the mesh generated by hololens to save some networking time. Is this possible? Also as a second question, incase if I process the mesh and generate a simpler model, would hololens continue over that simplified mesh or overwrite the generated mesh?

@holocoder check out the mesh processing sections of the spatial mapping documentation:
Bear in mind that spatial mapping data is intended to be as faithful as possible to real-world surfaces, so any processing you apply risks shifting your surfaces further from the 'truth'.
You might find the section on handling surface changes of use as well.
