Getting snapshots of video feed for creation of IBL cubemaps
Is there any way to get a snapshot of the current video frame? I'd like to use the current video frame to build a skybox which I can then use for IBL lighitng in Unity3D (using Marmoset). Basically, saving out a screenshot every few minutes or so and using the orientation of the head to figure out which side of the cubemap to copy it to.
I'm not sure there's a way to get access to the video feed in a way that would let me generate a texture from it?

To generate maps on the fly have you considered using simple Shader. Generate a Shader as a cube map then use the Shader as the map or try a texture. Look at Unity asset store Simple Physical Shader and its free and with some work could connect to the Locatable Camera
Simple Shader has RSRM (radially symmetric reflectance map) sounds quite exciting to use

Ah I did look at this but figured it was obsolete with the new PBR system--maybe I should take a look at it.
