My Hololens seems to take about a 1- 2 days to charge.
Is this normal?
How long does yours take to charge ?
I am using the wall charger it came with.

@tablife, I find that when I plug in my device (even to the wall charger) that the device tends to wake up and stay on after the power connection gets made.

If I am not careful to make sure the device is shut down after plugging in, I have sometimes found that it does not make much progress charging. I am guessing this is due to the cameras and sensors continually picking up movement and sucking almost as much juice as is coming from the charger. Or perhaps one of the apps that I was last using or testing is still running or something.

So besides checking that the five lights beside the power button are off, I have also got into the habit of running the Desktop HoloLens app and checking once in a while to see if any of my devices are online. If they are I then use that app to shut them down.

    HTH.

The Hololens is very power hungry, you should always use the charger it comes with. This charger outputs 2.5A, compared to most phone chargers that output 500mA to 1A. A computers USB output will give 500mA most of the time, unless the Hololens is setup to negotiate a 1A charge, which I am not sure. The current is what determines how faster the device charges, so a 500mA output will take roughly 5 times as long to charge, assuming it's not running at the same time. If the standard charge time is 3 hours, you're looking at 15 hours or more.
