Hololens Homepage Customization
Got my Hololens, excited :-) A question: I see the homepage is just pinned apps icons/texts not the hologram icons. I recall in last year's demo video, the homepage should show all icons and texts as holograms as 3D objects - one of which is weather (Maui), calendar... all sitting in spatial space as 3D objects. What am I missing? Or homepage is just a plain page with apps listed?

you have to start the application you want from the start menu, the GUI will ask you to position this app somewhere around you. the app will keep this position, and you can directly start it from here after.
some apps are using 3D "tiles", while others are flat (like the settings, remote dekstop, edge...)For now there is no 3D weather app or calendar app. but check the Store to see which one are available.

Another related: how do I see all apps listed on the desktop homepage? Any special settings I missed?

Thanks Jerome! How can I go to that start menu GUI? It seems I missed that. Or my current pinned apps displayed on desktop is the start menu?
use the bloom gesture to open the start menu.
