Academic research participation in exchange for a chance to win a £100 Amazon voucher

Hi Everyone,

We are a group of researchers from the University of Cambridge, studying the practice of recording data at various stages in the product development life-cycle of emerging technologies.

We want to hear from people working with emerging tech (AR/VR/MR, IoT, AI/ML, Robotics, etc.) to complete a short survey in exchange for the chance to win a £100 Amazon voucher.

Our goal is to develop a broader understanding of what data is recorded during design, development, testing and use of emerging tech, who is involved in deciding what to record, which tools are used for recording that data, whether or not the tools are sufficient and how they can be improved. We are also keen on learning about the wider concerns and considerations relating to data capture from technical, administrative and/or legal perspectives.

If this sounds like you, please complete our survey here: https://cambridge.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_b2BoUyYxtqvh5Nb

Please be as honest and descriptive in your answers and be sure to complete the full survey.

We would also really appreciate it if you can help to disseminate this post to other groups and/or share it with people who you think would be suited to the survey.

Thank you!
