Hello everyone.

The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.

There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

Windows Mixed Reality - Holographic Remotiong in Unreal Engine (error)

I'm trying to use the Holographic Remoting feature with a Hololens 2 device, but with no luck. I'm following the official guide: https://docs.unrealengine.com/en-US/...ing/index.html
I basically arrive at the point I have to connect, and it kind of works, meaning that my hololens receives the connection requests, but discards it giving this error:

Disconnect: transport connection was closed due to the requested video format not being available

That's it. I don't see a way to set the video format from the Unreal Editor, and also I can't find any information about this anywhere.

Did someone else have this problem by any chance? Do you know of a solution? I'm kind of desperate...
