The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

Shared Holograms: Where can I get the head and shoulders avatar from on-stage demos?

I just got the Shared Holograms demo working. Very cool. But, I want to replace the flying robot avatars with the head and shoulders avatar I see used in all the on-stage demos by Microsoft. Like the one in the NASA/Mars demo and the one seen in the anatomy demo. Anyone know of a project (on github?) that has these avatar objects?

@Tony I am not aware of any open source projects that give you that avatar asset.
    1. Perhaps looking on the Unity asset store for such assets?
    2. Object Theory is an agency putting a lot of effort into avatars but I don't believe anything is available for free at the moment.

Perhaps you could start a discussion and partner with some designer who can help create that asset for you and collaborate on the project :)
