Please help - DEP6100-Method not found: 'Boolean Microsoft.Tools.Connectivity.RemoteDevice.Ping()
Hi,
I am banging my head since 10 days for deploying HelloHalograms app as per website https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/holographic/holograms_100 but i am getting "DEP6100 : The following unexpected error occurred during bootstrapping stage 'Connecting to the device '192.168.1.65'.':
MissingMethodException - '. HelloHolograms
. ". I tried with Emulator, Remote Machine with Halolense. But no luck.
I am running app in Window 10 Professional and Visual studio 2015 Community with latest version. And also i have installed "Tools (1.4) and Windows 10 SDK (10.0.10586).
I have observed one thing, latest frame work (10.0.10586) is not listing under target frame work even though i installed latest tools. I am not sure is could be the problem?
Could any one help me to fix this problem.
Thanks in advance.

I found a couple other posts of this issue from people deploying to other devices, e.g. Xbox One or Rasberry PI. The problem does appear to be a misconfiguration of Windows 10 SDK and/or Tools, possibly due to a bad install of Update 2.
Unfortunately, the best solutions seems to be to completely uninstall VS, Windows 10 SDK, and Tools and reinstall from scratch.
