calling a web service from hololens scripts

i can add the reference to the main project but i want to use it in one of the scripts which is in the assembly-csharp project. when i try to add a web reference to the assembly-csharp project i get an "internal error".

if the service is added to the main project how do i call the reference from the assembly-csharp project?

i come from an apple dev world so a lot of this is new to me and i would appreciate the help.

    Is there a reason the reference needs to be added into the main project instead of the assembly-csharp project? Also could you provide the fuller error message you see?
