Generate 3D holograms

Hello Folks,

I know that the Unity is needed to generate a 3D holograms. But, I think this is kind of virtual 3D, not real. I wonder if there is any way for Hololens to play the stereoscopic video (3D) in holographic way? The video can be recorded by the 3D commercially available camera.
