Send data from a UWP running on a tablet/PC to Hololens

Hello,

I'm looking to have an UWP app running on a laptop/tablet that could send data to the Hololens. We would have an app running on Hololens that will pick up the message and open the 3D model/experience specified in the message.

What is the recommended/preferred method of communication between tablet app and Hololens?

    I am also looking for a way to communicate between a tablet and the hololens.
