how to project the content of HoloLens to TV or other monitors?
I want to share the content view of Hololens to others through TV with DLNA supported.
Any web links or documents?
Thanks.

From a browser navigate to the IP address of your hololens device.
Once that page is opened, then choose 3D view, or Mixed Reality Capture, from the menu on the left.
This will provide a view of what your hololens is seeing. You can go full screen and then share that browser screen using whatever mechanism you prefer.
It works fine using Chrome on my android phone, and running on a PC simultaneously. Using desktop share I can share that screen, and show exactly what the hololens is seeing. But mixed reality capture does have a slight lag, but also includes sound if you so choose to include.
Now, to do this without a browser, is perhaps what you're really asking. That would take some investigation into how the browser app is accessing the stream. One approach is to open up the developer tools in the browser to review the javascript accessing the 3d view (in a file named 3dview.js or mrc.js for the mixed reality capture), so hacking this code into your own javascript control is not going to be hard, but will take a bit of time, more than I can spend right now.

Use your laptop, the Portal / Companion and stream that. You cannot broadcast from the device to a DLNA device.

Execuse me! Can you give me more details to do this?

You could most likely write a UWP app that can do this using the web API wrappers and project that screen to whatever device you're trying to target.

this got easier last month with the release of WindowsDevicePortalWrapper on github.
Unfortunately the streaming api's have not been implemented yet, but might be a starting point.

Hi utekai, I tried to navigate to the IP address of my Hololens but it isn't responding. Do you have to turn on the service from the Hololens or something else? TIA
@howardlo see this link for the setup and use of the DevicePortal https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/holographic/using_the_windows_device_portal
Hi,
Is there any OS or browser requirements to project the HoloLens content?
