Hello everyone.

The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.

There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.

The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.

For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.

If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.

And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

Purple mapping mesh artefacts, when mapping mesh is turned off!

After following the 101 tutotiral, I've been creating a project of my own. I disable the part in the "TapToPlaceParent" script, that toggles "DrawVisualMeshes". The result is, that the mesh should never be drawn. This works, except that in the other end of the room (Quite a large room), parts of the mesh is shown, without texture/material! (Purple color) It seems to be random parts each time I start my app, and it only happens in my app.
If I enable drawing the visual map, it has the correct grid texture/material; except for the parts that are purple.

I'm also having trouble with the spatial mesh disintegrating, and failing to rebuild, leaving only tiny parts of the mesh. Do you think this is related, or should I open a second question?
