Can I legally sell my Development Edition Hololens?

Hi, I purchased my Hololens in wave 3. It is an amazing device, but my current interests are taking me away from AR. I know when I purchased it, there was a clause in the license agreement about not allowing me to sell it, but now that the Hololens is more widely available commercially, is it still not permissible to sell it?

Thanks!

I haven't seen any official response to my question. I certainly don't want to do anything illegal but it is an expensive device to keep if I am not using it.

There never will be an official response. Here is some history. The M.S T & C say you should not sell this without first offer to MS.

The device CANNOT be permanently exported outside the USA, without very EXPENSIVE paperwork.

Ebay will NOT service your request after several devices were put on sale and sold at $14K. Ebay all countries came to the voluntary decision to delist all HoloLens devices.

If the device breaks down, only you can send it back. The warranty has only 3 months left, but in some States the seller has to provide a years warranty!.

You probably wont get $1000 dollars for it now they are freely available and being supplied to many countries like UK by MS U.K. at much below the individual import price.

My own view is why not try renting it out to some where. Its money coming in and there may be more renters or sub lease the device than buyers.
