    Hi @FirstAVJohan
How about using DHCP Server for Windows
Like all DHCP servers you set a range of addresses which the map the customer network.

These addresses are used in the HoloLens Emulator, but you need to use the Customers addresses

    IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 169.254.80.80(Preferred)
    Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0

    IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 172.16.80.1(Preferred)
    Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0

Run this program DHCP Server for Windows on the Windows pc and then the restart HoloLens.

If you want a simple network then get a Windows Lumina 635 phone connected to a 4G network and enable Mobile Hotspot and now you can use phone as a wireless local DHCP server network on a park bench or coffee shop to demo the HoloLens connecting to the Internet

There is no way to set up static IP address as the ipconfig.exe command does not exist in HoloLens and you need a default address to connect to the Windows Device Portal via a browser like Edge
