Application Char Limit?

Why is there such a small character limit on the Hololens Application? Considering this is the basis for the acceptance or denial of your application for Hololens, shouldn't it be longer to allow for the vision of the applier to be truly articulated in its full form?
Currently, my application is pending. And all I could do was provide the most information that I could in the limited space, but I feel like that in itself is not enough to truly show what my company aims to do with the Hololens. Anyone else with me?
Any Hololens Dev Team members willing to discuss things in detail so that you can have a better grasp of what my application is all about and the true opportunity to innovate if I'm accepted?
