Can I upload my own films to Hololens?

Let's say I'm filming 2 people talking to the camera over a unique background- can I upload it to HoloLens and re-live it in my room (with same background)?

You'll have to give more information. Do you just mean people being recorded as simple 2d video? Or are you wanting a recording with holograms and depth information?

    Sorry about that.
I was wondering if there's a way to record a 3D hologram of a person and add a background layer on it from a different location so eventually I will be able to see a scene with few layers of elements combined through my Hololense. For example, filming the Eiffel tower with a depth camera, then filming a dancing person with the same camera over a green screen. Than combine the two together, upload it to my Hololense and make it 'come to life' in my backyard. If you can do that, is there a limit of layers you can add?

I see now. I am not sure if the hololens itself has the processing power and precision to do exactly what you're looking for. The closest I've seen is Teleportation:

But they used a special camera setup with multiple depth cameras, with the processing offloaded to another computer.
