App in store but not available

So the app is shown in store via a link but when I try to download it, it says "This app does not work on your device." though it says to be for Windows Holographic.

It is our app on our account, I don't see anything on the submission that would tell me wrong.

So if you know what is wrong, can anyone guide me to fix this?

Thanks

    Did you check device compatibility "Holographic" as an option during your submission? As well as package for x86? You can create a new version update for the app and look for that option in one of the first screens, I don't remember exactly. But you have to specify that its holographic compatible. Then resubmit. Also if you did do that, Sometimes deployments take up to 48 hours after it shows up in the store. So you may have to wait and then it magically just works.

    The app shows as Windows Holographic in the store so I guess it is meant to be for Hololens. It is also x86 in the bundle but the submission architecture is neutral.

    How would I change that? I can't see anything about it.

    MS chat support advised to set the app as public but as useless as can be it did not do any good.

    All options have to be set during deployment for that version. So to change options, you have to create a new release and update the options. You do not have to upload a new package but the whole release has to go through certification process again.

    In Visual Studio if you are creating a new package, make sure on x86 release is selected. I don't know if other options are even available for the lens but typically, x64 and any cpu are options which neither will work.

    I have everything set as required. While chatting with support, I was told to upgrade my windows version to the latest.
    She claimed she could see the active install button on her side.

    Though I have v1511 which is the one required on the Hololens doc.

    Still that does not explain why it won't install on device.

    There is a minimum required version of the os supported when you build your app. That could explain it, if your lens is not at the minimum version.

    I ran the update for Hololens, it would not find any update to install, I assume it is ok.
    Also, only my app is not installing, I can install any other app.

    I guess there is one small thing screwing it all and MS is just not helping. Kinda frustrating as we may lose customers if we cannot be told what is done wrong.

    Can you share the store link? I can try to download it when I get to work next week. I'll see if one of our lenses is able to.

    Thanks for the help and idea but due to NDA, I can't really do that...

    @LucasSoftability ,

    Ahhhhh. Your app is hidden. There are four options for visibility, btw. You can make your app hidden but downloadable without a promotional code if you want. Just resubmit it.

    @james_ashley

    the selected one on the picture is the one I had. It seems there is no possibility to hide without a promotional code.

    At least, I currently have the second choice on for the app and using the promotional code it works.

    @LucasSoftability , if you've got it working good enough, then all's well. It isn't supposed to work like that, though. Sorry you got stung by it.
