Magic Spatial Mapping Layer Number 31?

Hi!

It seems to be given in majority of the documentations on HoloLens Unity to use Layer 31 for Spatial Mapping. However, there is a choice of spatial Mesh Layer property on the Spatial Mapping Collider component. Both facts seems to be mutually contradicting to me as I simultaneously have and don't have a choice. It is very confusing.

Is the layer 31 coupled to spatial mapping somewhere "under the hood" in Unity?

Thank you very much!
