Spatial Mapping and placing an object
I have spatial mapping working and planes being created i can also get the component to add however i cant see it. I am assuming that i am not placing with in view or behind the wall mesh.
Does anyone know of an example of placing an object on a plane created in script?
Or can give some pointer here with the xyz axis while placing the objects?
Thanks
Calzaretta

I recommend taking a look at the Holograms 230 - Spatial Mapping course. The project built in that course creates planes from the mesh and places holograms on those planes (both floors and walls).
Assets\Scripts\SpaceCollectionManager.cs automatically places holograms on planar surfaces and Assets\Scripts\Placement.cs shows one method of placing on surfaces using the user's gaze and a set of Physics.Raycast calls to determine if the object will sit flush on the surface.
Thanks!
