Why my name is bringing a problem to my innovation out ?

I applied at the 1st of march for a hololens. My friend applied after me for two hours. He got invitaiton wave1 and me wave 4.

    Did your application mention the same use cases? Generally I think they assign by the importance/interest of the use case you plan on doing. They also may take your experience into account too. When I applied they asked for both your use case and personal details (like a linkedin page, personal site...etc). I highly doubt it is because of your name.
