Mixed Reality Capture UI disappears

Hi,

I have some UI elements that are fixed in space to the main camera, so as to appear as a HUD. when I used the mixed reality capture in the portal, these elements disappear and all I see is a "REC" text string in the top corner.

I have tried setting them to be both UI layer and default layer in Unity with no luck.

Has anyone run into this problem?

You can enter your WIFI ip number into your browser and get the device portal. From there look for Mixed Reality Capture and select checkbox for Holograms and PV Camera. Without Holograms checked it will not show your UI Elements.

I have seemed to solve the problem. I was using UI elements. I saw that there are some issues with the canvas object and hololens. I have just changed to using 3D text and making that text a child of the main camera.
