Can I set camera.nearClipPlane to less than 0.01 in Unity?

I'd like to set the nearClipPlane to a value less than 0.01. I can't do it in the Inspector. And in C#, I've tried setting Camera.main.nearClipPlane = 0.001f; but that doesn't seem to work either. Is it possible to set nearClipPlane to a value less than 0.01?

Thanks,
-Stanley

You should be able to set it to 0 if you like. However, be careful, as when a user gets too close to some models, it can cause issues with the focus of the eyes and irritate or nauseate your users.
