Mixing 3D and 2D apps

Hi,

I'm running the DirectX SpinningCube default template. My goal is to create a UWP 2D app to show a panel with commands (like change color) and send commands (via webservice or other) to the local DirectX application. Is this possible? I created both applications, but when I run the DirectX one, the emulator seems to enter a different "world" where the other 2D UWP applications disappears.

Thanks
Sergio

No, that is not possible (at the moment). When you render a holographic view (3D) the shell (2D) is not rendered and vice versa.
