Creating menu systems in unity without UI or OnGUI
In an effort to make more comfortable UX I have been searching for some tutorials on using mecanim to make 3d menu systems. Unity UI just does not look good on Hololens thus far and I feel like every path I go down I run into some roadblock that I cant seem to get around.
I am curious if anyone has found any decent tutorials on this subject. I have had a really hard time extrapolating the mechanics of mecanim from the stand point of character animations to simple UI changes.
Thanks

Hi @subere23,
I have not used Mecanim before, but this tutorial looks promising.
Yeah, I found that one, worked with it and a few other basic ones I found on youtube and have since move back to using the Unity UI. It makes more sense for the project I am working on anyways.
Thanks
