I just got my invite on Monday (23rd) and placed my order. I got it right before I had to leave for the doctor's so I was late to the appointment --- but definitely worth it! I am just waiting for it to ship now.

I'm part of Wave 1 and received the order invitation to purchase May 9th (my email address was not accepted until May 17th which Microsoft eventually fixed).
After the Microsoft Store accepted my email address, I then purchased 2 devices May 17th however I was placed on back order since and it is May 25th now.
17 calendar days have lapsed and I was informed yesterday through Microsoft's Global Escalation services that they do not know what is causing the hold up and also could not provide an estimated time of delivery.
@mtycholaz I'm also in Canada and am interested to see when you will receive your device.
