App won't deploy to Hololens from VMWare

Hi!
I'm using a VMware on a mac air to develop hololens applications. However, when I ran a program in VS2015 update3 and clicked "start without debugging", it said deployed but there was a pop-up window, saying "Unable to activate Windows Store app. The activation request failed with error 'Uncaught exception during type initialisation'."
I then looked at the Event Viewer and there was always one Error 5961, saying "Activation of the app Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy!CortanaUI for the Windows.BackgroundTasks contract failed with error: The operation was canceled by the user.". Is it because of that I'm using a virtual machine? Can anyone help me out here? I think I did everything I should but still cannot make it work. Thank you so much!
By the way, if I only deploy the app but not run, it will succeed. But when I opened it in Hololens, it's an empty app. And in the device portal, it only showed in the App Crash Dumps but not the installed app list.
