What are the costs to attend the HoloLens Academy Live if our application got approved?

I live in Pennsylvania so I am wondering... What are the costs to attend the HoloLens Academy Live if our application got approved? Thank you.

@bherald1965 there were two previous Holographic Academy events at the previous two Build conferences. To the best of my knowledge there is not currently an official "live" version of that event available to the general developer community. The Academy events were half day sessions and were part of the Build conference experience for a fortunate group of attendees due to limited capacity.

However, there is a multi-day Holographic Hackathon event that is starting to visit different cities across the county.

I believe cost of participation is up to the local hosting community groups, but it is likely to be free or some reasonable cost at most stops. Boston is on the schedule for June.

As awesome as the two previous Holographic Academy events were, if you have a chance to attend the Holographic Hackathon I believe you will find it as beneficial or even more so.

And although the energy may be a little different, the online tutorials that we were mentored through at the previous Holographic Academy events (Build 2015 & Build 2016) are both available online along with a number of others in the online Academy. Of course working through those at your own pace will also be of great value.

    HTH.

    Hello @HoloSheep ,

I might be confused but the one I am talking about is located in Remond and applications to attend are being considered this month. They don't appear to be related to the ones at Build 2015 or 2016.

Here is the URL and at the bottom there is a section where you can apply:
    https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/holographic/academy

Is this still the same one you mentioned in this thread? Anyone know the costs to attend?

    Thanks!
    Bill

@bherald1965 interesting, I wasn't seeing the Academy Live details and apply now button on that page in Internet Explorer... but when you mentioned it I loaded it in Chrome to see if I was missing something and sure enough :-)

My apologies, I wasn't aware of this 6 month team based program, now you have me curious as well.
