Hello, I would like to take detailed information about application process. I have couple of questions;
1-What are the requirements to be a part of the program?
2-When the new batch will be announced?
3-Is there any geographical limitations to attend program?
4-What are the selection criterias?
5-Is there any application or tuition fee for program?

As RetinasVR from we are highly motivated to be part of it. Thank you.
Have a nice day!

    Hi, @RetinasVR

    I'm not part of the program but here is what I know so far. Since this information is all fragments from multiple chats it is by no mean final, may be partially incorrect and more than welcomes updates. Think of what I'm gonna say as a rumor.

    The program is not official. There is no open application form or procedure. To become part of the program you need to be noticed by Microsoft in some way. You also may need to have a previous track record of developing either Mixed Reality or any other related medium applications or games. The team has to be of a certain size, around 10 people, and look more like a Unity games development team with artists etc. than a team of code-only .NET software engineers. Readiness Program is outstanding studios about whom Microsoft is sure they're going to deliver content on par with the expectations. As far as I understand, there are plenty requests to Microsoft to create Mixed reality applications which they, as platform developers, don't do. They are, however, happy to re-direct these requests to the "ready" partner studios.

    Recently the program extended to Europe with it's decision making located somewhere in London.

    Additionally, an official program with defined guidelines is being worked on at the moment but it is not out yet.

    As I said, I'm happy if somebody gives a better / more correct info.
