Windows desktop "+" button not clickable

Hi, After I used bloom gesture opened the windows 10 desktop with all the tiles, I found sometimes the "+" button is not clickable. It does not move to the page where all my Apps were listed. I found when this happens, I can not install App from VS to hololens. Anyone knows why?

Thanks,

fireman

@Fireman I had one case where that happened when I was trying to set up a multiuser demo at our user group last week and I ended up turning off the HoloLens and rebooting which seemed to solve it.

However, a couple days later I ran into a similar scenario and I found that I had not set the "focus" on the menu and that another window was open which had the focus. So you might want to double check next time you run into that if the menu has focus. Just gaze at the blank area of the menu window's toolbar and air tap to make sure it has focus and see if that changes what is active on the menu UI.

What do you mean by "focus" on the menu? Which menu?

By menu I mean this window:

which is what I think you mean when you refer to the "desktop +"

and by focus, I mean Gaze at a blank edge then air tap to make sure that is the active window.

However as I try and recall the scenario that focus made a difference for me, it might have been with one of the app windows. Which takes us back to the reboot strategy, which did work for this issue for me.
