D3D Apps Filepicker

Hi, I am working on medical app that do volumetric rendering with CT results. I have succeeded in making volumetric rendering with in-app CT images, and now I am wondering if it is possible to do it with images in OneDrive. Did anyone succeeded in doing this? I see a lot of people do it with XAML, but not sure if it works in D3D too.(I would appreciate it if someone provides an example on this)

Thanks in advance.
