What GPU's would be best for working with Mixed Reality?

Hi

I'm about to start working on a project to convert an architects designs into real-time interactive environments in Unity, one of the things he wants is to incorporate VR so he can get clients to pop on a visor and walk through the design. We have decided to go with the hololens/mixed reality headset as it doesn't require other hardware for positioning. I'm looking at different GPU options, a triple setup for the main office workstation (1 GTX 1070 and dual GTX 1060) and a laptop with a GTX 1080 for going offsite. Does this sound like a good approach, or should I consider other GPU's? Like most projects, keeping a lid on the budget is paramount so if it's possible to do it with cheaper hardware then I'm open to suggestions, thanks.
