Is HoloLens getting the Fall Creators Update?

Since it's still on the Anniversary one and 15063 has been left out, I thought I'd ask here.
It'd be certainly good if it happened because of .NET Standard 2.0 support and code sharing between Desktop/Mixed Reality platform.

So, is it coming?

There has been no announcements of any updates to the HoloLens at this time. Sadly. We are long, long overdue for one (it's been almost a year!).

Since Unity supports .NET Standard 2.0 now it would be cool if that'd actually be usable on the HoloLens too... Any news on this?

@monsdar, I believe we'd need to get at least the Fall Creator's Update in order to be able to use .NET Standard 2.0 on the HoloLens.

@monsdar, actually you can, but only if you use IL2CPP backend since Unity controls that runtime.
