Feedback on using cloud server for shared experience.

I have been reading some posts here discussing using cloud platform for shared experience server. Recently our team is also thinking about setting up a cloud server on Azure so that we don't have to carry the router every time to our demo. But I am hoping if I could get any feedback or advice from those who have already set up the cloud server and used it for a while, primarily regarding these 3 questions:

  1. Is the cloud server reliable enough so that the Lens can successfully connect to the server in most network environment?

  2. Is the latency noticeable compared to using the local network?

  3. Does it require frequent maintenance?

Also, any suggestions which VM instance I should use? (good enough connection without paying high monthly rental fee ?)
