Windows MR motion controllers not detected?

I just received my Windows Mixed Reality Bluetooth controllers today, and I cannot get them to work. The controllers seem to turn on fine (when I push the 'Windows' button on them, they vibrate and light up), but they are not being detected by my PC. I use a USB Bluetooth 4.0 adapter on my PC for Bluetooth device connectivity, and I know that it is working, because I am able to detect and connect to other Bluetooth devices (speakers, tablet, phone, etc). I'm using the Windows Acer MR headset as the visual device, if that matters at all, and that is working fine. I'm running Windows 10 Pro Version: 1709, OS build: 16299.19.

If I go through the 'Mixed Reality Portal' app, and click on 'Set up controllers', it just takes me to Windows Settings>Devices>Bluetooth & other devices so that I can add the controllers, but it never finds them...

I've rebooted several times, have the most current Windows updates, tried the USB Bluetooth adapter in both USB 2.0 & 3.0 ports, tried updating all 'Bluetooth' & 'Mixed Reality devices' device drivers, and even tried detecting the controllers with my Phone (Android) & Tablet (Windows) (neither of them find the controllers either).

Has anyone else had any issues with detecting the MR Motion Controllers? And/Or have any suggestions?

Nvm, I just figured it out... I neglected to press the tiny 'pairing' button that is inside the battery cover on the controllers. After doing that on both controllers, they are working fine.
