Hololens clip mixedrealitycamera Unity

Hi,
I'm using MRTK HoloToolkit-Unity-v1.2017.2.0 (1) for unity 2017.1.2f1 and having a problem with the clipping happening too early.
I've been setting the distance to in clipping planes to 0.01 but still no change and there are two other places it looks like you can change this near clip 0.85
near clip 0.1 which are part of the camera manager script.
In the old holotoolkit this was only done in one place and it used to work.

Can someone help please? also what's the recommendation for the latest Hololens MRTK release for which unity.
