At the bottom of this article, there is a reference to tracking an LED or tagged object, but I am struggling to find much information on how to do this with the HoloLens.
**The excerpt: **
Track or Identify Tagged Stationary or Moving real-world objects/faces using LEDs or other recognizer libraries
Examples:
Industrial robots with LEDs (or QR codes for slower moving objects)
Identify and recognize objects in the room
Identify and recognize people in the room (e.g. place holographic contact cards over faces)

@RobAllen
I believe the B15 robot demo that they showed at Build 2015 used LED tracking.
You might dig through the GitHub depot to see if there is any useful information there.

That is interesting, seems promising, but having trouble finding the HoloLens code. This seems like only the Robot code.
I contacted the team that made the demo and the HoloLens code was built on an older SDK and is not easily portable to the new. Moreover, it isn't open source as of now.
