There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.
The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.
For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.
If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.
And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

Hololens spatial mapping
Hi, I 'd like to see how precisely Hololens do the spatial mapping in genearl situation / running an application. Is the result of Hololens 230 - spatial mapping equal to what Hololens does on spatial mapping when turned on or running other application?
Thanks!

Optionstrzy ✭✭✭I don't understand the question. Holograms-230 is an ordinary application like any other, so obviously the answer is "yes" to your last question. Why would another Unity app be any different?
The HoloLens can in fact generate much finer meshes than the public APIs permit. There is an artificial limitation imposed to conserve memory and power usage. However, the public API does allow you to specify different densities of spatial mesh. For example: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/windowsholographic-sm-component.html

@trzy I wanted to test the precision of default spatial mapping of Hololens. Thanks for the info!
