Assigning IP Address to Hololens
I'm trying to assign an IP address to the Hololens, but can't seem to find any way of doing so. In looking online, it looks like I'll need a DHCP to accomplish this. Anyone else have any ideas of things I may have missed? The context is that I'm trying to receive from a broadcast static ip address udp connection but there's no router involved.

Doesn't look like you can. I turned off the WiFi to see, but no network setting is available in ether state. Opening advanced options doesn't provide any input fields.
Developer mode also doesn't provide any ability to change IP.Have you tried setting up a laptop with shared network? That would provide a DHCP and the HoloLens would discover that.

@onthelake I ended up solving by bringing router into the equation.
Could you describe to us how you did that?
