can I use this device for military training; i.e. add battle scenarios or capture what soldiers gone through downrange and implement it into the device for others to experience w/out being there?Simple answer is yes.....Actual answer is that it is all in the scope of your project. Also keeping in mind things like lighting and the size of the environment. I have been advising on AR/VR uses for about 5 years and when you are using these technologies for training keep the scope very small. Have 15 apps if you need to that each do something really well rather than 1 app trying to cover multiple scenarios.

I'm developing an AR training environment for firefighters, so, the military training its a perfect application for HL.

Good advice there from HollowDeck75. Also, keep in mind that the current version of the Hololens isn't necessarily designed for outdoor use.
I believe so yes. It can capture the environment.
