Tap to Place change absolute position?
If I implement an 'airtap to place' ability for my game, does that affect the position of the objects in the game? My player movement is limited to within a box that's defined by world co-ordinate position.

Depends on how you do it. If you place the box using "airtap to place", then you can spawn your game objects relative to the parent box world position.
Here's the rough code flow to create an individual object relative to the parent object.
Vector3 pos = YourBox.transform.position + ObjectOffset; GameObject go = Instantiate(ObjectPrefab, pos, Quaternion.identity); go.transform.SetParent(transform, false);

Thanks for the reply. I think that does the trick!
