Run Hololens Emulator VM inside of a VM?
I was trying to work my way through the HoloAcademy 101 on my Windows 10 VM and seem to have run into a bit of a problem...
Seems the emulator won’t start! Based on what I’m reading on the “requirements” on the tools page (https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/holographic/install_the_tools) this might be something to do with the BIOS settings requirement (I suspect) in order to run the VM inside of VM? I made sure that there is enough RAM and CPU cores allocated to the Host VM to meet the system requirements.
Is there a way to get the emulator functioning on a VM or am I out of luck and need to set up shop on a dedicated machine?

Some people have been successful doing this with Parallels on Mac, but most people have run into trouble.

(Daddy, what does 'now formatting drive C:' mean?)
Hmmmm...Mine's hosted as a Hyper-V VM. Any news there?
Never tried it, but you'll need nested virtualization. Have you read https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/hyperv_on_windows/user_guide/nesting
