Holocafe: is it possible?

Hello everybody!

It is just an idea, but why not? It is about the hologram technology (maybe the next step of HoloLens).

Our world is becoming more global. I have friends in different countries and not enough time to visit them all and to spend enough time with them.

I have read this article about holographic image of Michael Jackson and thought: how great would it be if I could meet with my friends in a "Holocafe" without being there physically. It was done with the Pop King, so it should be possible also for an average person?

I mean. My friends are sitting in a Holocafe in New York City, I am sitting in a Holocafe in Vienna. My body is scanned and its image is rendered in the Holocafe in New York City (and vice versa).

What do you think?

Best regards,
Mikhail
