Why arent my Motion controllers connecting to bluetooth

So basically, they were working just fine right? Then when i moved my setup to the other side of the room, i took off the external bluetooth adapter. They were paired but neither of the controllers were working, so, i put the external adapter on and they still arent working. i have restarted my pc a few times, swapped out the batteries in the controllers, reinstalled bluetooth drivers, Nothing worked. im pretty mad cause i used all my money to buy the vr system and now the controllers dont even work. i moved my entire room layout just to play vr with more than a 4x3 space, now it is a 5x7 space and i cant even play
