Can I run WMR on Windows LTSB

Hello,
I have an interesting issue. I bought a WMR from Samsung when I plugged that in, nothing happened.
After some research, I've found, that WMR works at Windows 10 Version 1703 and greater.
Right now I have Windows 10 LTSB 1607
Another interesting thing, when I installed Windows 10 Pro on my old HDD I plugged VR and a setup window pop up.
So, my question is: Can I play VR on my current windows without losing all the information.
Can I update LTSB to the newer one? IS it will help?
What should I do?
