Announcing Actiongram Fantasy Contest Quest!

Time to make some holo-magic happen!
We hope you’re loving the new Actiongram fantasy theme pack. Over the last week, we’ve shared some content using the incredible holograms in this pack, but now it’s your turn!
Today we’re announcing the Actiongram Fantasy Contest Quest! Be it mythical, magical, or legendary, share your mixed reality video with the world for a chance to win an Actiongram swag bag, the opportunity to collaborate with our Actiongram art director on a design for an upcoming hologram, or the grand prize: a trip to the Seattle area to meet the Actiongram team and see how holograms are made.
Click here for official rules and entry criteria (please read them so you aren’t disqualified), but here are some key dates and details:
- Actiongram Fantasy Contest Quest is open November 16 – November 30.
- You’ve got to use our fantasy content! Unicorns, dragons, knights, spells, and more await.
- Share your Actiongram video to your social media channel of choice with both "#Actiongram" and "#ContestQuest" - note: your post must be public!
- Post the URL for that same public social media entry in the comments section of this forums post.
- The first 25 eligible entries (regardless of scoring) will win an Actiongram swag pack, so don’t be shy!
- Our judges will select the top 5 videos, and then our Twitter fans will vote on the grand prize winner.
Good luck, get creative, and cast some spells (or breathe some fire)! We can’t wait to see what you create.

@holodev1, @Mark great videos! But I noticed neither have a hologram from the fantasy pack in them. To be eligible for the prizes, please update your videos to include one of the fantasy-themed holograms, like the dragon, knight, unicorn, magic lamp, treasure chest, etc. You can find them by setting the theme to "Fantasy" in the gallery. Happy Thanksgiving!
so I asked BB-8 his opinion on the new fantasy Actiongram update (thru HoloLens of course) oh and made a Paint 3D , Actiongram Happy Thanksgiving Greeting (with the update) and yes I am only 5....

It's hard to argue, you can't beat the classics. It's easy to use way too many Actiongrams to over-complicate your video, but we wanted to show that the basic arrow animation combined with the Hide function can be just as entertaining.
PS: I spoke with many other people who had HoloLenses in the Boston area who hadn't heard about this competition. It might have been a good idea to send an email blast, and there are also several funny #Actiongram videos that never made it on #ContestQuest and into this competition.
PPS: There's a bug with arrows not having their bullseye landing location hidden on play, it's visible in my video.

@AlanFoster thanks so much for this feedback. Yes, we were able to grab Hannah's submission via Twitter. We did send an email blast, but you have to opt-in to email updates. The number of email recipients was much smaller than all device owners for this reason! Definitely encourage your friends to opt-in to learn about future opportunities.
