Holographic Remoting over USB Connection

Anyone figure out how to get the Holographic Remoting player to work over the USB connection.

There should be a way to do it if one knew the port that the remoting player uses since you could just go to regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\IpOverUsbKit and add an entry in there to map the ports appropriately

  • I would also like to be able to do this. I already have the USB connected for quick and easy connection to my device from Visual Studio. This would give a more reliable connection than wifi and it would be nice not to need to type in the IP address.

  • Has anyone figured out if we can use USB connection with the Holographic Remoting app instead of Wi-Fi? I am not permitted to use Wi-Fi in my workplace for security reasons, so my only option is USB. Should be possible... but not sure how?? Any Help?
