The Mixed Reality Forums here are no longer being used or maintained.
There are a few other places we would like to direct you to for support, both from Microsoft and from the community.
The first way we want to connect with you is our mixed reality developer program, which you can sign up for at https://aka.ms/IWantMR.
For technical questions, please use Stack Overflow, and tag your questions using either hololens or windows-mixed-reality.
If you want to join in discussions, please do so in the HoloDevelopers Slack, which you can join by going to https://aka.ms/holodevelopers, or in our Microsoft Tech Communities forums at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mixed-reality/ct-p/MicrosoftMixedReality.
And always feel free to hit us up on Twitter @MxdRealityDev.

HoloLens has the advantage of being able to be used by sight correction glasses users. That's a lot of us especially when we get olderEh, not so much. I need readers out to about 24 inches, which is about where holograms start, so like a lot of people I'll wear them down on my nose so I can flip my head up and down to correct or not correct based on distance. That simply does not work with the HoloLens. So what I do is pull off the HoloLens and put on readers to code and then when running an app I have to pull off the glasses to put on the HoloLens. I'm not sure if the best solution is contacts, surgery or a big ass monitor I can place far enough away that I can focus on it while wearing the HoloLens.

Love it! This is the kind of stuff that got me interested in the potential of the HoloLens in the first place!
